History

In 1948 Laube Technology, then known as Laube Steel Company, began business as a Chicago based warehouse distributor of steel mill products. Its founder, Walter Ising grew the company to become a major Midwest supplier of all types of metals. Laube’s corporate offices were moved to the west coast in 1961 in anticipation of the coming influence of Asian product. During a period when even Japanese products were unfairly degraded, Laube together with a small handful of other visionaries was influential in pioneering the importation of metal products from the Far East.

In 1971 Laube acquired Zamco International; a Los Angeles based supplier of electronic components and industrial metal components. Upon completion of the acquisition three separate divisions were established in order to concentrate manpower and resources. These were Electronic Components, Metal Products and Steel Mill Products.

Today Laube continues as a family owned business and under the leadership of Claude Ising, we remain serving the industry under three separate divisions, those are: Man Machine Interface Devices…This department supplies all types of custom control panels and keyboard assemblies as well as Celduc superior quality solid state relays and sensors.
